Website operation and server logs
When you visit the website, the systems that deliver it may process technical connection information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested page, referring page, and the date and time of the request.
This information is used to deliver the website, maintain its security, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. It is not used by us to build advertising profiles. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Agency directory information
Agency profiles are compiled from agency websites and other public business sources. Most profile information concerns organisations. A profile may also contain professionally relevant information about an identifiable person where that information has been made public in connection with the agency.
We use this information to operate and maintain the directory, make agency details comparable, and respond to correction or removal requests. Agencies and affected individuals can contact us to request access, correction or removal.
Contact enquiries
If you use the agency contact form or email us, we process the email address, message and any other information you choose to provide. We use it to understand and respond to your enquiry, manage listing corrections or removal requests, and protect the form from misuse.
The contact form is provided by Deftform. Form submissions are transmitted to and stored by Deftform on our behalf. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request.
Service providers
We use service providers only where they help operate a specific part of the website:
- Deftform provides the agency contact form and processes the information submitted through it. Deftform is a service of ivy.mayhem GmbH in Germany. See the Deftform privacy policy.
- Mapbox provides interactive maps. When a map loads, your browser connects to Mapbox and transmits technical request information, including an IP address, browser information, map requests and interaction or session data. See the Mapbox privacy policy.
- Supabase provides database infrastructure for public agency information. Directory queries are made by our server rather than through a Supabase account in your browser. See the Supabase privacy policy.
International data transfers
The website is operated from Switzerland and serves an international audience. Service providers may process information in Switzerland, the European Economic Area, the United States or other countries in which they or their subprocessors operate.
Where required, transfers are handled using recognised legal safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism described by the relevant provider.
How long information is kept
Technical logs are retained only for as long as needed for delivery, security and troubleshooting, subject to the retention settings of the hosting provider.
Contact enquiries are kept while we handle the request and for as long as reasonably needed to document the response, prevent repeated abuse or meet legal obligations. Directory source records may be retained while a profile remains published so that we can substantiate and review the information shown.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we process personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable.
