The directory currently contains 178 agencies, but this study describes only the 86 with captured offers verified with official sources. No offer record is not evidence that an agency has no public pricing.

Key finding 01

Two thirds of recorded offers put a number on the page.

135 of 208 recorded offers (65%) publish a USD amount. The remainder includes 59 explicitly free offers and 14 custom quote offers. This result describes offers, not the transparency of every agency.

Key finding 02

Service and billing model matter more than a single agency “average.”

These are medians of published package prices, not recommended budgets or estimates. We keep monthly and one time work separate and publish only cohorts with at least 10 packages from at least 5 agencies.

Key finding 03

A headline price is useful only when the scope travels with it.

The same service label can cover very different output volumes, channels, production assumptions and support. The examples below show selected observations spanning each published cohort, with their listed inclusions and official evidence.

Methodology

How to read this report

Download all 208 records
  1. 01

    Source inclusion

We include structured offers captured from an agency’s official website. Each row retains the exact source URL and the date it was checked.

  2. 02

    Source audit

217 offer records were considered. 208 records from 108 official source URLs are included. 9 records whose evidence URLs were unavailable in the September 2, 2026 publication audit are excluded from the report, download and benchmarks.

  3. 03

    Price definitions

Fixed means the agency published a stated price. Starting price means the published amount is a floor. Free and custom quote offers carry no inferred dollar value.

  4. 04

    Comparable cohorts

A median requires the same service, currency and billing period, at least 10 paid packages and at least 5 distinct agencies. Paid consultations are excluded from package medians.

  5. 05

    Units

Amounts are stored in whole cents and reported in their original currency. Every paid observation in this edition is USD, so no currency conversion is used.

  6. 06

    Limitations

Published packages are not completed project invoices, negotiated retainers or a random sample of the whole industry. Several packages can come from one agency. Missing data stays missing, and an absent offer is not classified as undisclosed pricing.

  7. 07

    Reuse and citation

You may quote, analyze or chart the downloadable records with attribution and a link to this report. Preserve the source review date and do not present a historical price as current after its evidence window.

  8. 08

    Updates and corrections

This is a living report generated from the current verified offer dataset with a bounded one hour cache. Agencies can submit a corrected official source through the directory’s agency enquiry process.

  9. 09

    Editorial disclosure

Agencies were not asked to participate in, review, approve or pay for inclusion in this report. Inclusion does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Questions buyers ask

Agency pricing report FAQ

How much does a content marketing agency cost in 2026?
Public prices vary by service and billing model, so there is no defensible single figure for the whole market. This report publishes separate medians only for service and billing cohorts supported by at least ten packages from at least five agencies.
Are these estimates or quoted prices?
They are prices agencies published on their own websites. Starting prices remain starting prices, not final project quotes, and every record includes the official source and the date it was checked.
Does an agency without a recorded offer have no public pricing?
Not necessarily. This report measures the offers captured and verified in the directory. An absent record is not treated as proof that an agency publishes no prices.
